(PRODUCT SHARING) Shin Chan’s Miso Ramen from Tochigi at METRO IPPIN

Shin Chan has got a better half & Miso excited talking about it!

I went to restock on Shin Chan’s Soy Sauce Ramen and saw something that makes me go excited. It is Shin Chan’s Miso Ramen!

Started in 1950 by Mr. Kiyoshi Imaizumi from Ashikaga in Tochigi Prefecture, Tokyo Noodle has been around for long and produces a variety of instant noodles.

Shin Chan’s Miso Ramen ($11) is from Tokyo Noodle, with 5 packets of noodles in each pack. The noodles are of medium thickness and are fried. Conveniently cooked in just 3 mins, you can add ingredients to make it a sumptuous bowl. This has a different dimension of savoriness as compared to the soy sauce variety, tasting a clearerlighter broth with sweet aftertaste.

I recommend to add lots of vegetables, in particularly sweet corn and a little butter to this miso ramen for a good tasting bowl of sweet – savory umaminess. Nothing overwhelming should be added to cover the taste of the broth.

Shin Chan’s Soy Sauce Ramen can be found at Metro Centrepoint Level 4.
