Who is a good candidate for CoolSculpting Elite?

CoolSculpting Elite works best for people with a body mass index (BMI) of less than 25 and is having at least ⅔ of an inch of pinch-able fats in order to fit into the CoolSculpting Elite’s applicator.

I am a good candidate for CoolSculpting Elite as I am already starting my healthier lifestyle but still has problem areas that are resistant to diet and exercise. If I’m too big, more treatments are needed to see an outcome, which are going to be costly. What happened during the CoolSculpting Elite procedure?

Each CoolSculpting Elite treatment for an area will take 35 to 60 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas being treated. A protective gel pad is being placed over my skin before applying the applicator to the treatment area. At this point, the treated area has its temperature lowered till -10ºC – the effective temperature to freeze and kill the fat cells.

When the treatment time is up, Dr Terence Tan removed the applicator and massage the frozen fat / “butter cake” (because it looks so much like a frozen lump of butter) to kick-start the process of excreting dead fat cells. CoolSculpting Elite removes 20-25% of fat cells in the treated area each time.
