Are you a Somen, Ramen or Udon kind of person?
I always have this question in mind whenever I’m at IPPIN to buy these instant noodles that come with seafood dashi stock.
With these noodles being ‘slurpplicious’, I have the tendency to buy all of them at once. The real headache is I’m always tied to choose my favorite or what to cook for the day; end up cooking all the 3 and overeating happily.
The one in black is Udon with Seafood Dashi Soup ($12). This thin udon has a chewy texture and the broth comes with it has a tinge of spice compared to the other 2.
Came delicately in white, this is Somen with Seafood Dashi Soup ($12). Somen is the softest of the 3, and goes really well with the instant soup provided. There are flavors of chicken and leek in the soup, giving this bowl of japanese somen a homely touch.
Bright in red but nothing spicy, this Ramen with Seafood Dashi Soup is the favorite of my family. It has good springy texture that most instant ramen lack. I love to add an egg, bean sprouts and plenty of corn to the ramen when I have mood for a more elaborated meal.
Get the 3 of them at Metro Paragon (lvl 2) & Metro Centrepoint (lvl 4) IPPIN Section now. Happy noodling! 🍜
