I stayed at their newly renovated 26 sqm Signature Studio Room, that is designed for guests who are looking for a relaxing longer stay.
The room is spacious with a queen-size bed & single sofa bed, absolutely ideal for a couple or family with a child.
The premium bedding, pillow menu, plushy bedroom slippers and huge flat screen television with viewing menu are the few of the dedicated amenities I enjoyed, alongside beautiful Chinoiserie & Contemporary Chinese décor.
The large windows open up to the city view where I’ve gotten inspirations & much relaxation from – such a peaceful sight to behold.

A good staycation will be incomplete till you have your fill at the buffet breakfast. I’m always looking forward to one and got my appetite whetted for such instance.
I had my breakfast at Princess Terrace which turnover to a Peranakan & Penang restaurant for lunch & dinner period. The selections for the buffet breakfast are not super wide but tasty enough to widen my sleepy eyes. Also, when you are here for breakfast, must check out Ausca! – the egg robot chef.
Ausca! can whips an omelette or sunny side up at your finger tip. This user friendly robot is definitely fun to interact while watching your orders being prepared. Adults & children of different ages love to crowd around Ausca! 🤖

If you are lazy to travel out of the premise but need awesome food & booze, fret not. At Copthorne King’s Hotel, there are several food outlets namely Princess Terrace Café (restaurant), Tien Court (restaurant), & Connection Lounge (bar). The bar was closed when I wanted to check it out – it closes on Sundays. What a pity!
Tien Court Restaurant – an oriental restaurant with really impeccable service that will makes me feel at home the minute I stepped in. The ambiance is really lovely and cosy at here! There is even 20% off dining when you are staying in the hotel. bit.ly/2QE2pSl
Everyone is here for the delectable dishes. The HK Roasted Pork Belly, Crispy Glutinous Rice Roll with Duck & Lobster with Broth in Mini Pumpkin are a few favorites to name. Sincerely recommending this restaurant to dine at even when you are not staying in the hotel.
Princess Terrace Cafe – mouth watering spread featuring familiar Penang hawker fares that uses authentic ingredients & cooking methods. The food serves are of buffet style but there are ala carte option available too.

Exhaustive measures such as rigorous cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, regular sanitization of contact points, such as elevator buttons, reception counters & conference/meeting rooms can be spotted throughout the hotel.
Hand sanitizers are also placed at guest contact areas such as hotel lobbies, lifts area & restaurants’ entrance. Front desks are also equipped with infrared thermometers to conduct temperature checks on us. Medical masks & gloves can be given when needed upon request.
