Despite exercising and having a strict diet, there will be time we need a little help to reduce the bulge that is persistent on our waistline. enCurve is said to be the easy comfortable way to deliver circumferential reduction permanently.
THE TREATMENT ROOM AND ENCURVE
enCurve reduces adipocytes through apoptosis-inducing radio frequency. Specialized frequency at 27.12 MHz is applied to targeted area and heat adipocytes to the optimal temperature to cause denaturation of cells, leading to adipocyte’s death.
I was given to a program consisting of six sessions, targeting on my abdomen. The treatment is said to be a swift one (30 mins) and I am encouraged to increase my water intake throughout the 6 sessions of treatment.
ME ON ENCURVE
I was brought to a simple furnished room and given 2 cups of warm water to drink for pre-treatment and another 2 for post-treatment, The therapist explained that water will assists in removing the dead fat cells so is really essential throughout the program.
To be a suitable candidate for enCurve, you must not have any electronic devices implanted as it may interfere with enCurve. No cell phone is allowed during the treatment too!
A COMFORTABLE PROCEDURE
The therapist put me on a bed and started adjusting the ergonomic shaped air flow parameter on me. I felt relax and absolutely pain free throughout the process. The only thing I felt was a comfortable gentle warmth on my skin as the radio energy penetrated into my skin.
HOW ENCURVE WORKS
The apoptosis-inducing radiofrequency penetrates deep into the tissue, targeting on the adipocytes. The frictional heat raises the adipocyte temperature to 45 degrees celsius at which they denaturize. This denaturation causes changes in the integrity of the adipocyte membrane, which leads to apoptosis (cell death), with expulsion of the intracellular lipid. The body’s natural removal process then takes over, removing the damaged cells, permanently removing the cells.

Overall, I noticed a few cm lost from my entire abdomen and flanks with 4cm off from lower abdomen. My curve and abs looked more define too.

ON MY FINAL THOUGHTS
With my 6 sessions of enCurve at Kowayo Aesthetic, I must say it does work but not a magic.
This medical grade non invasive machine uses radio frequency energy to melt my treated area’s fat cells permanently. The destroyed cells is said to be removed through the body’s natural processes. I did not notice any difference in my urine or stool even though I lost some cm. Also, no weight lost is being observed during this program.
I find enCurve pretty fuss free as it has no downtime and is ideal for those who don’t want surgery or non-responsive to exercise to lose the inches. Considering for being a food blogger and not exercising much, enCurve seemed to be good.
